Boston Police Department Division 3 Station is built.

Architect: Gridley Bryant. Designed in the French Second Empire style, it is located at 74 Joy Street. The station closes in 1933, reopens in 1937, and closes permanently in 1962. It is purchased by the Beacon Hill Civic Association in 1966 and renovated by Strickland, Brigham & Eldredge into the Hill House Community Center.
